Join Abigail Ogilvy Gallery and Artists For Humanity for our 2018 Spring Mixer. An evening of art, cocktails, dancing, and hors d'oeuvres. Reconnect with friends and expand your connections at one of Boston's top fundraising events of the spring, in collaboration with A R E A Gallery, food sponsored by Southern Proper.
100% of event proceeds will be donated to the Artists For Humanity (AFH) capital campaign. Artists For Humanity is the largest onsite employer of Boston teens, providing under-resourced urban youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in fine art and design services.
Enjoy the artworks on view by the AFH teens or buy a painting directly off the wall. A portion of all art sales are paid directly to the teens. In 2017, 24% of the teens used their wages to support their families.
Proceeds from the capital campaign will contribute to AFH's upcoming expansion, totaling 53,500 square feet. This new building will double employment for high school teens, launch advanced vocational programs in technology-based arts media and trades, build a vibrant hub for creativity and innovation, and much more.
Attire: Pretty edgy
Food sponsored by Southern Proper.
Tickets will also be sold at the door.
Must be 21+ to drink.
Quick Facts About AFH:
