This full moon symbolizing the end of winter is a cause for celebration, and we plan on enjoying it together by hiking 3.5 miles in the Crane Wildlife Refuge. Please bring warm layers to protect from wind as well as shoes that can withstand walking between dunes. Please note that walking in sand is generally more taxing than grass, concrete, etc. Also bring a bottle of water, snacks, and some type of lighting device which we may ask at times to be turned off to enjoy total darkness.


Registrants will receive all of the meeting information one day before the event. This is a guided hike by a refuge specialist and helps to fund the property’s maintenance and staffing.
