As the days get longer, the earth wakes up, crocuses push out of the ground, and everything breathes a sigh of relief, join deCordova as we welcome back spring.
Visitors of all ages are invited to take part in hands-on making activities inspired by spring. Plant a pollinator-friendly seed, make a sculptural garden marker, and learn more about environmentally-inspired sculptures at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
The event will include:
Artist-led garden art activity. Plant a seed in a biodegradable pot decorated with your hopes and dreams for the year. Plant it in your garden at home alongside a sculptural garden marker and watch your plant grow into a haven for local pollinators.
Seasonally inspired snacks and beverages to share with family and friends
A sensory table filled with rich soil for children to explore and play
A guided tour highlighting the bee-friendly Haven, by Jarrett Mellenbruch (https://decordova.org/art/sculpture-park/haven), and other environmentally-inspired sculptures in deCordova’s 30-acre Sculpture Park, including our new Andy Goldsworthy sculpture, Watershed.
An exclusive 10% off discount at The Store (20% for Trustees Members!) during the event for ticket holders only. All purchases support the mission of deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
Admission to the Museum and Sculpture Park (applicable on the day of the event during Museum hours)
