In celebration of the official start of the spring season, Equinox, the high-performance lifestyle leader is teaming up with Secret Walls to host a series of special live graffiti battle performances at all six Equinox Sports Club locations nationwide. On Tue/March 19 from 6:00PM – 8:30PM, Bostonians are invited to an epic Graffiti Battle at Equinox Sports Club Boston as two teams featuring local Boston artists, Merk Those and Gregory Burdett will go head-to-head in a 90-minute matchup to be crowned winner for the best in street art and illustration.


Known as the “Fight Club” of the art scene, Secret Walls has been a fixture in the global art community for the past decade and has been recognized as the World’s premier live art event. In honor of the Vernal Equinox, featured local artists in each city will be armed with only black paint and a white wall, as they’re charged with presenting the theme of balance, reflecting when day and night are equal. The matchup will be judged by guest attendees, with the competing team who creates the most impressive battle mural to take victory over their opponent.


Boston revelers can mix and mingle throughout the battle, with cocktails curated by KEEL Vodka, classic Italian bites from Tony & Elaine’s. As a bonus, Boston Celtics house DJ, BREK.ONE will also be supplying beats throughout the evening.


The Vernal Equinox celebration at Sports Club Boston is open to Equinox members and their guests.
