The Museum of Science invites you and your furry friend to a virtual happy hour with Spirits podcast— a boozy dive into mythology, folklore, and urban legends!

Join this long-running podcast for a tour of notable dogs in stories from societies around the world. From hellhounds to companions faithful even after death, you’ll laugh, learn, and walk away with an even greater appreciation for humankind’s best friend.

The signature cocktail will be a Salty Dog - an easy cocktail to recreate with things you have at home. All you need is:

1 1/2 oz of vodka or gin (or seltzer for an alcohol-free mocktail!)
3 oz of grapefruit juice (or whatever citrus you have on hand)
Couple of teaspoons of coarsely ground sea salt

Combine the liquor and juice in a cocktail shaker and shake, or stir in a large glass with ice, until cold. Dip the rim of a glass into water or citrus juice and then into the salt, strain drink into the salt-rim glass, and enjoy!
