We are delighted to announce a special film screening event at our sister store in Cambridge, Graymist Studio & Shop. This groundbreaking film uncovers startling nuclear testing secrets within the United States. With narration by Alec Baldwin, this movie is a must-see for anyone who wants to go beyond Oppenheimer and discover a dark period in history whose effects still reverberate today.
This film was screened at the Boston Japan Movie Festival in December 2023, and garnered significant praise and attention.
We believe this will be a great opportunity to gain new insights into the US nuclear weapons testing program and its effects on US civilians. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with the director, Hideaki Ito. Please join us and enjoy the screening with drinks and light snacks.

This shocking documentary by Japanese director Hideo Ito tells the untold story of the spread of radioactive contamination in the United States and the mothers who stood up against it.
Before the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 2025, the filmmaking team decided to organize a screening tour in the United States. They aim to highlight that the entire American continent has been exposed to radiation from nuclear weapons development and to question the true necessity of these weapons.
