Join us in our back taproom at 284 Broadway as we take your taste buds on a tour of tartness in this interactive sour beer tasting experience. We’ll sample an array of our (award winning!) mouth-puckering sour beers and hear directly from our lead brewer and lab manager, Grace VanValey about the brewing techniques that we use to produce some of our most flavorful, tangy brews– From zippy and bright to funky and complex, there's something to suit every palate.
We’re especially excited to dive into the brewing process behind the re-release of our iconic summer sour, Ms. Frizzle, brewed with Curio’s Butterfly Pea Flower! As part of this unique tasting experience, our friends at Curio Spice Co, an award winning women-owned company located in Cambridge will walk us through the world of sustainably-sourced spices and botanicals and we'll chat all about how we brew incredible sours with them.
Each ticket is for one person and includes full access to the class, a tasting flight of four beers, and a goodie bag from Curio. We have a limited number of spots available for this special evening, grab your tickets now before they sell out.
In honor of our queer friends and family for Pride Month, $1 of each pour of Ms. Frizzle will benefit BAGLY. This youth-led, adult-supported organization is committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community. If you'd like to further support this organization's work, add an additional donation in any amount to your ticket on checkout.
The tasting takes place in the back taproom at Lamplighter's 284 Broadway location. All seating is first come first serve, we'd recommend arriving early if you'd like to grab seats with your group.
