NOAH LUBERT
Noah Lubert is a Nashville-based pop producer, and songwriter, whose songs have accumulated more 30 million Spotify streams. His latest collaborative pop project, PinkoFuss, stands out for its bright, loud, and danceable beats, prolific irreverence and biting social commentary. PinkoFuss is sure to make listeners both laugh out loud, rethink-social issues and bust a move, marking a stark contrast in an industry landscape of clichéd heartbreaks, bravado and materialism.
FOREST ROMM
A self proclaimed “homeschool survivor”, singer-songwriter Forest Romm grew up outside the traditional bounds of society, which left her with a fundamentally unique perspective on the world and the people who inhabit it. Forest is a compelling storyteller whose narrative focused and detail oriented songwriting conveys fundamental truths about inner life. As a writer, Forest finds humor in darkness, and crafts songs about love and desire with the precision of a surgeon and the longing of an orphan.
Although she is strongly influenced by American Roots music and often accompanies herself on the banjo, Forest began experimenting with more modern sounds while studying at Berklee College of Music, abandoning the Genericana tropes of trains and hobos for an incisive and unflinching writer's voice. An enigmatic and compelling performer, Forest made a name for herself as a unique gigging artist in the Nashville music scene before returning to Boston, where she is currently based.
Among Forest’s songwriting influences are Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, and Craig Finn, and because she is primarily a lyricist at heart, Forest was also influenced by as many literary authors as she was by songwriters, including Don Delillo, John Steinbeck, and Lorrie Moore. As a Berklee student, Forest was the recipient of many songwriting awards and merit scholarships, and was respected and known by professors and faculty with extensive industry experience such as Pat Pattison, Mark Simos, and Bonnie Hayes, as a “lyrical powerhouse” and an upcoming artist to pay close attention to.
CHRIS WALTON
Chris Walton is a singer/songwriter/producer based in Boston. His music is a blend of classic Soul, Jazz, and Funk with a modern aesthetic. Chris is equally comfortable writing intimate introspective love songs or upbeat retro pop tracks. He released his debut album Ruminating Thoughts in January 2023 and has more new music on the way.
