Hosted by Nick Chambers and Al Park, “Something Big” is a monthly comedy showcase bringing some of the country’s best stand-up comedians to perform at Somerville's intimate venue, The Rockwell.
January's headliner, Clark Jones, is a humorist originally from the South Side of Chicago who has performed at: “The New York Comedy Festival” opening for Hannibal Buress, “The Brooklyn Comedy Festival,” and currently hosts “Comedy at the Knitting Factory” every Sunday, named a top weekly show by “TimeOut, New York.” He was been named one of the top comics to watch by the “New York Observer” and has acted in Andy Samberg’s “Digital Shorts” for “Saturday Night Live.” Cited as one of Brooklyn’s “50 Funniest People” in 2016 by “Brooklyn Magazine” he was more recently named one of the 11 funniest comics in the country by BET. You can currently catch him on the NBC/Seeso Network’s “Night Train with Wyatt Cenac.”
Feature, Mike Lebovitz's act careens from topic to topic with the force of a runaway freight train with a loose wheel and includes some questionable couplings. He has recently appeared on Season 9 of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing."
