For the 26th year, Somerville Open Studios spotlights our diverse community of visual artists, arts organizations, and cultural supporters.

Despite mounting obstacles, our community has strong creative roots. We don’t give up—we Flourish. Join us in celebrating the enduring power of self-expression in over 100 locations citywide. Meet 400 artists in their inspiring studio spaces, where you’ll come face-to-face with locally produced pieces, behind-the-scenes discoveries, and captivating creative flourishes.

Whether you’re exploring small studios, touring large collective spaces, or visiting our neighborhood exhibitions, all SOS events and locations are entirely free, inclusive, and open to everyone.

Enjoy special events and exhibits before the big weekend: ArtWear Fashion Show, First Look Exhibit, Volunteer Show, Inside-Out Gallery show, and several Locavore shows including Alternate Worlds and Sustenance.
