Join us in celebrating the incredible artistry of our residents and businesses as they transform yards, windows, and storefronts with festive lights, whimsical decorations, and dazzling displays of creativity! So get ready to plug in those lights, grab your bike helmet, and experience Somerville’s unique and interactive Illuminations extravaganza!
This year, enjoy Illuminations through self-guided tours or join a fun bike tour led by the Somerville Bike Advisory Committee, TBD.
Whether you’re decorating your home or looking forward to touring, here’s how to participate:
For Decorators: To add your address to the map, simply submit it to the interactive map on our website. Once approved, your home or business will appear on the map for everyone to enjoy!
For Tour Goers: The interactive map will be available on our website, so you can start planning your route. Keep in mind, though, we’ll be adding new addresses until December 11th—so you may want to wait until then to see all the latest additions!
Illuminations Dates:
- Dec. 12 through early January 2024: Self-guided tours using the Somerville’s official online Illuminations Map (map coming soon).
- TBD: Illuminations Bike Tour
(Note: We’re skipping trolley tours due to high rental costs. Keeping the event free helps make it more accessible and inclusive for everyone)
