Makers make the season bright, and Snowport season begins with over 120 small businesses and artists coming together to give you the magic that is The Holiday Market at Snowport Presented by Constant Contact. While you’re shopping, watch live performances every Monday on The Stage by Mohegan Sun, snap pictures at Presents Place by Lexus, get creative in The Crafting Corner, make a wish on the Winter Wish Wall by Mass General Brigham Health Plan, and snack on festive foods, holiday cocktails, and loaded hot cocoa under the food & beverage tent by JetBlue.

Decorating a festive tree is one of the best parts of the holiday season. Fortunately, that no longer requires a car, a saw, and an assorted collection of bungee cords. The Tree Market in Seaport offers a wide selection of trees of all different sizes and shapes, plus wreaths, stands, lights, and more. If you don’t live in the neighborhood, Christmas Tree 4 Me will deliver your tree. Professional setup and decorating services are even available to make the process as simple as possible.

Within The Holiday Market you’ll find a charming photo backdrop featuring piles of colorful presents heralding the season. This year the backdrop comes with a new photobooth element to make it even easier to snap a cute picture with your friends. Plus, Lexus drivers can show their key fob at any of the market bars and receive a free hot chocolate.

Boston’s favorite pink yeti is back. To grab a selfie with Betty the Yeti herself, head to The Superette, which has been transformed into Betty’s Blizzard Bluff for the season . This magical, winter wonderland is a vacation home fit for our cold-weather queen, and your Instagram feed. Catch her there on select weekends for photo opps. If you can’t meet her in person, you can now order a Betty plushie online, or donate $5 to 826 Boston and try your luck grabbing one at Betty’s Claw Machine Booth inside The Holiday Market. Stay tuned for our exclusive and elusive queen is here all winter. With celeBETTY Sightings through February she is always looking for somewhere to shop and something to do.

Betty loves a cute beverage, so Snowport designed a cocktail crawl in her honor. Pick up a Betty the Yeti Cocktail Crawl card at any of the participating restaurants and get a stamp on the card for each cocktail (or mocktail) you have on the route. If you hit all the spots you can earn a Betty beanie. Best of all, it’s for a good cause. $1 from every drink sold will be donated to 826 Boston, a local organization promoting youth literacy.

Mark your calendars for December 6, when Boston’s largest holiday tree will be lit for the season in Seaport. This one big night of bright, is hosted by our Holiday Cheermeisters Amina Smith of ESPN SportsCenter and Ashlee Feldman of JAMN’ 94.5, the tree lighting will include live music performances by Boston City Singers, Divine Sweater, ToriTori, and The Gracenotes.It will be broadcast on NBC10 Boston and streaming platforms such as Peacock and Roku in a special live edition of The HUB Today. It’s the unofficial start to the holiday season.

It’s time to find your new favorite winter sport: curling. Throughout the winter season, you can try it out for free at Seaport curling lanes brought to you by Mass General Brigham Health Plan. Each booking slot reserves you one curling lane for 30 minutes. Up to eight friends can play at the same time.

If diving right in to a curling session feels too intense, take a free Learn to Curl lesson. You’ll learn the basics of this seasonal sport, then get to practice with real games on the Seaport curling lanes. Lessons are offered every Saturday November 23-February 22 from 2-4PM. Best of all, no experience is necessary.

Martin’s Park is a family-friendly hidden gem at the entrance to the Seaport neighborhood complete with winding pathways and fantasy-fueled climbing structures. On November 30, Santa and The Grinch will boat in along the Fort Point channel to light the ship in the park with holiday splendor. Celebrate Hanukkah in Seaport with a special menorah lighting ceremony, presented in partnership with Chabad of Downtown Boston, on Sunday, December 29. See the miraculous lighting of a 9-foot menorah and enjoy traditional treats like kosher jelly donuts and chocolate gelt. It's a warm gathering to honor the Festival of Lights and the spirit of the season.
