Our youth and staff have been working all season to get ready to open Boomerangs by More Than Words. Fresh paint, new shelves, shiny floors, and 12,000 items of clothing, shoes, accessories, books, and homegoods up on the shelves. It's kind of a big deal!


As we get ready for opening day (December 6) we are looking for friends, family, and fans of thrift at Boomerangs and More Than Words to help us get ready. Please join us for a space-limited pre-shop event to get an early look at the new store while helping us test our systems and customer service!

About Boomerangs by More Than Words:

When Fenway Health announced that their iconic Boomerangs stores, which for many years have raised funds for HIV/AIDS causes, were closing, we began conversations with them about carrying the torch forward. Now we're re-opening the beloved storefront on Mass Ave in Cambridge! Our goal is to maintain the same sense of safety and community with similar products and prices. The store will be run by graduates of our job training program, accessing supportive employment while they work on long-term career and education goals.
