Beyond the bright marquees and dim speakeasy, there is a timeless place where bouncy vaudeville meets soulful sounds and fresh comedy meets the glint of rhinestones. Smoke & Shadows is the Rockwell’s monthly burlesque and variety show that defies decade and genre, each time offering a new mix of performers from near and far.


On July 2, escape the summer heat and join us for hot live entertainment in a cool speakeasy cellar. The award-winning international headliner Jezabelle von Jane and the devastatingly handsome Foxworth Vorn from Philly join Boston's burlesque goofball Elsa Riot for a night of cheeky, vintage glamour and extravagant showmanship. Local comedienne Zenobia Del Mar returns to bring the laughs, and the disco-tinged music project S. the Supplicant joins from NYC with beats that bridge the gap between sex and technology.


This is a unique lineup never to be repeated - these artists are in the same room for one night only!
