Wachusett is making their own snow and we've gotten some more recently. It's a solid spot close to the city. I'm a beginner skiier, so I'll be on green trails. Ideally we get a group of similar skill level so we can go together, but if we end up with a few subgroups up there that's fine too.
They are selling tickets in "sessions" and we'll be doing "session 1” (7:30AM - 11:30AM). If you've been there already this season and still have your scan card, you can just reload that and get a discount/skip the line. Make sure you buy for session 1 though, in addition to whatever gear rental you will need. Here is where you buy
