Aging well requires self-examination and a plan. Join Dr. Sharon A. Levine in-person or by Zoom webinar for a discussion on creating a roadmap for aging. Dr. Levine – geriatrician, educator and innovator – will provide a framework for thinking about aging and health focused on maintaining and maximizing your independence. She will also discuss how important defining what matters most to you is when it comes to making decisions about your health and for talking with the people who matter most so they know your wishes.
Sharon A. Levine, MD is the Section Head for Geriatrics in the Division of Palliative Care and General Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and is the Director of Education for the Division. Dr. Levine leads the Age-Friendly Health System initiative at MGH.
A nationally known expert in geriatrics education, teaching and clinical care, Dr. Levine has focused her clinical, scholarly, educational, and leadership efforts on innovative approaches to collaborative care of the elderly. It is her mission to “geriatricize” health care, to inspire and train non-geriatricians and their institutions, and to provide care to older patients in informed and effective ways.
This program presented in partnership by the Boston Public Library and Beacon Hill Village as part of their Living Well Ending Well series will over Zoom webinar. Registration required.
