Continuing the Way of Shambhala Training, we deepen our practice of meditation and learn to recognize our habitual patterns as we begin to discover fearlessness.
Having tasted the experience of basic goodness in the first weekend retreat, we long to move forward. Deepening our meditation practice allows us to observe how we personally create a cocoon of habits to mask our fear. These habits trap us and prevent us from experiencing the full potential of our lives. Through meditation, we begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.
Saturday, September 10 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Sunday, September 11 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
As with Weekend I, this retreat includes individual and group meditation instruction, teachings by a senior director, and opportunities to socialize with fellow participants.
While this is retreat builds on the Art of Being Human - Shambhala Training Weekend I, no previous program or experience is required to sign up.

Shambhala Training has been a cornerstone of what we do for over 40 years, yet we haven’t been able to offer this program in-person the last couple of years. We recognize how we are all different people, and in different situations than we were two (or more) years ago. Typically we would ask $185 for the weekend, but our primary goal as we resume offering these foundational teachings is to make them accessible to anyone who feels this would be beneficial.
Consider your own financial situation, the value of the program, comparable cost for other weekend programs, and your intention. If you feel able to make a donation - either when you register, or after the program - we will greatly appreciate it.
Since registration is limited, if you sign up, we ask for your commitment to participate fully - to work with your own mind and heart, and to support others who are working with their minds and hearts this weekend. If you don’t feel ready to commit to this check out our website for other opportunities!
