She+ Geeks Out is presenting the following diversity, equity, and inclusion webinar:
Description:
During times of crisis, we are forced to make many changes in our personal and professional lives which can negatively impact our livelihood and ability to do our best work. While a crisis can be challenging for many people, especially those from under-resourced backgrounds, it can also be an opportunity for us to change certain aspects of our society that do not support us. With this in mind, we want to discuss our current structures, how they impact employees on a day-to-day basis, and explore what it could look like for us to re-imagine our work spaces and relationships with one another.
In this webinar we will:
-Review current issues many employees are facing
-Discuss the impact of structural disadvantages and how they impact employees
-Provide tips on how to support people during times of crisis
