Discover the winter wonders of Rocky Woods!
Where do the animals live in the winter? How do frogs and turtles survive when the pond freezes? What can we see with the leaves off the trees?
Join us as we explore forest and pond see the changes occurring at Rocky Woods during the winter months. We will hike around Chickering Pond and explore various trails using our scavenger hunt list as a guide while we look for treasures.
This program offers a reduced number of guests and a quieter sensory-friendly environment. Any family that would benefit from a limited capacity visit is welcome. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Stacie at [email protected].
Resources available for your visit include a limited number of special sensory kits. We strongly encourage participants to bring anything they expect to need.
Please note, although we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not allowed at this program.
