Join us for a Sunday Matinee. We will be screening Modified, a first-person documentary-memoir that questions why genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are not labeled on food products in the United States and Canada despite being labeled in 64 countries around the world. Interweaving the personal and the political, the film presents an intimate mother-daughter investigative journey fueled by a shared love of food. The film ultimately reveals the extent to which industrial interests control our food policies. Winner of 14 festival awards, including this year’s James Beard Award for Best Documentary. Directed and produced by Aube Giroux / Executive Producer Camelia Frieberg. For more information, visit: http://modifiedthefilm.com

Aube Giroux will be joining us via video conference for a Q&A following the film.
