Don’t Miss This Special Black History Month Event Organized by the Harvard College Generational African American Student Association (GAASA) in Partnership with the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative in Collaboration with the Harvard Black Law Students Association, National Black Law Students Association, Harvard Black Graduate Student Alliance (HBGSA), @Harvard Generational African American Law Association, Harvard Black Pre-Law Association, The Appian Way Alliance for Alumni of Color, the Cambridge Chapter - National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and Greener Scott Scholars.
We are excited to invite you to a special screening of “Becoming Black Lawyers,” a multiple-award-winning short documentary that has sparked vital conversations about the challenges and triumphs of Black law students navigating predominantly White law schools.
Join us on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Harvard University (exact location TBA to registrants) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The evening begins with a fun popcorn and movie candy bar, followed by the screening, filmmaker talkback/Q&A with Evangeline M. Mitchell, Esq., Ed.M., and a dynamic panel discussion.
