What better way to grow your love or friendship than by pulling your own custom prints together?! Join us on February 13th from 7-10pm for a fun evening of screen printing. Each pair of students will send a design they’d like to print: A shirt for your bowling league! Thank you cards for your wedding gifts! Posters for your band! On the night of the class, student couples will use a pre-prepared screen with their design on it, and the instructor will help them make lovely one-color screen prints. Inks and class screens will be provided. You’ll supply your own t shirts, tote bags, or papers to print on, etc. You’ll leave with an armful of screen printed stuff and a whole lotta love.
Class Goals
By the end of this class, you’ll know the basics of pulling prints. You’ll experiment with printing on different surfaces and leave with a pile of cool, custom items that you created yourself.
Materials
We will provide screens, emulsion, ink, scrap paper, and all the equipment. Students will bring surfaces to print on: paper, cards, tote bags, t-shirts, etc.
