School Vacation at City Tap House: Cafeteria-Style Lunches for Kids & Adults

When school vacation comes around, parents are often left in a lurch about how to spend those five (very) long days with their dependents. Whether you are looking for an activity before or after visiting the nearby Boston Children’s Museum or are just looking to relive your cafeteria glory days (ah, simpler times), City Tap House has you covered.

Each day from February 18-22, the Fort Point lunch hotspot will be serving up specials that recall your favorite lunch-lady staples that can be complemented by Adult Chocolate Milk ($9), a Stoli Vanil-housemade Hershey's milk creation topped with Cocoa Puffs.

Each of the throwbacks ($12) comes served on a colorful plastic tray and is available from 11:30am-4:00pm during school vacation week:

MONDAY, 2/18: Breakfast for Lunch - French toast sticks served with maple syrup & a fruit cup

TUESDAY, 2/19: Grilled PB&J - peanut butter & jelly served with housemade potato chips

WEDNESDAY, 2/20: Chicken Nugget Day - chicken nuggets served with mashed potatoes & house salad

THURSDAY, 2/21: Mac & Cheese - classic cheddar mac & cheese with pulled pork and BBQ sauce

FRIDAY, 2/22: Pizza Day - two square pizza slices served with a side of French fries

Test your kiddo's art class skills by entering him or her into a daily placemat drawing competition. The "best in show" each day will be rewarded with a complimentary dessert. (Because kids always need more sugar during school vacation week.)
