Rose Apothecary and COVEN cordially invite you to join us (remotely) for Schitt’s Creek trivia to benefit the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC: https://barcc.org/). Play with a team or by yourself, get your (optional) costumes together, and join us via zoom for a game of trivia on May 31st at 2pm ET.
Come with the vigor of a wartime radio operator and demonstrate your generosity whilst proving you know more than everyone else about the greatest show on television. A bold claim, we know, but you must agree that this show is simply the best.
We know it is a very strange time for everyone but we're excited to bring you trivia (all new questions), prizes, music, and costumed hosts. We’re all most proud to support the very important work of BARCC, a Cambridge-based organization whose mission is to end sexual violence through healing and social change. If you can’t make the event, but still want to donate, please donate to BARCC at barcc.org.
Keep an eye on the facebook event for updates: https://www.facebook.com/events/163644248409716/.
This is how it will work:
-Register ahead of time via Eventbrite: tinyurl.com/sctrivia .
-We will email all the zoom link to all registrants before the event.
-Set up a separate chat with your team (e.g. Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Facetime) so that you can discuss answers.
-We know you have easy access to the Internet here, so we are on the honor system: please don’t cheat!
-We’ll be muting everyone to keep the noise level down, but you will be able to ask questions in the zoom chat.
-For each round, we’ll post a link to the answer sheet (which will be a google form) in the zoom chat and on the slides, so keep an eye out and choose ONE person from your team to be the scribe.
-There will be opportunities to donate throughout the event. If you can't give right now, we completely understand and want you to join us for trivia fun anyway. If you can spare a few bucks, any funds you donate will help BARCC support sexual assault survivors and advocate for social change.
For those of you who don’t know us, we are COVEN for Good: Our obsessively-detailed pop culture-themed events are designed to bring people together in the spirit of fun, inclusivity, and positivity—all while raising money for great causes. We believe in working hard to make the world a better place, and having fun while doing it. We hope to see you at an event soon!
