Join the Esplanade Association and Boston Music Project at the Stoneman Playground on the Esplanade for family-friendly music and movement programming for children and families of all ages!
Saturdays at Stoneman is a summer-long, interactive music program at the Stoneman Playground designed for children and their caregivers. Each week, children will sing songs, dance to music, and enjoy storytime led by trained Boston Music Project teaching artists. Caregivers are encouraged to attend and take part in the music games with their children. When registering, caregivers should select tickets for both themselves and their child/children.
Saturdays at Stoneman sessions will be 45 minutes long and take place on the hour from 10am to 12pm every Saturday at the Stoneman Playground from July 17 through August 21.
The newly renovated Stoneman Playground features musical instruments installed in 2020 including the all-ages Dance Chimes, stand-up xylophone, and bongo drums! The Stoneman Playground is located in between the Fairfield Street Footbridge and Harvard Bridge (Massachusetts Ave.) on the Esplanade.
We look forward to making music and moving with you all summer long!
