India Discovery Center presents SAPTAVARNA, a Classical Indian Dance Ballet with Guru Aruna Mohanty and her troupe at Cary Memorial Hall in Lexington on September 21, 2019,
8 PM. A medley of seven different dance styles, the composition creates a visual tour of the inner conflicts of human mind as analyzed in the Indian text of The Bhagavadgita. The spectacular production is hosted by eighteen eminent dancers presenting the grief and joy of life in our everyday living.

Guru Aruna Mohanty is a world-renowned teacher, much rewarded in the profession, heads the Orissa Dance Academy, the school in Bhubaneswar, India. SAPTAVARNA comes to the US after touring Asia and Europe last year.


India Discovery Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization based in Lincoln, MA, promoting art, culture and literature of India.
