Did you know that Curio was founded upon a love affair with saffron? Mina Sahar Saffron - a burgeoning women-owned saffron business - can definitely relate! We are excited to invite Palwasha, the woman behind this growing enterprise, to our lab. She will be joining us for an afternoon of tasting and talking about the saffron she sources from her homeland in Afghanistan. Join us for an aromatic afternoon and support a female entrepreneur! This is an open-house style event, where guests are invited to come say hello to a local, like-minded business in Curio's lab space.


MINA SAHAR SAFFRON is a woman-owned business based in Brooklyn. Founded by Palwasha Raqib, MINA SAHAR SAFFRON imports and sells single-origin, ethically-farmed saffron from Herat, Afghanistan. Afghan saffron is universally renowned for its supreme quality, aroma, taste, and color. Our saffron is categorized as Super Negin, the most coveted in the culinary world.
