On Thursday, December 5, notloB Parlour Concerts will be coming out of a long hibernation for its 200th presentation featuring a long-time acquaintance, founding member of Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings, Crooked Still, and Tornado Rider, Rushad Eggleston.
“Eggleston is an eclectic, whimsical, inventive performer and personality…a cello player with a difference. Calling himself the Ambassador of Sneth and Wild Cello Goblin, Eggleston improvises in fiddle styles on the cello. Now touring the world—from Italy to Belgium and beyond—as a solo performer on cello, vocals, and kazoo, he wears a jester costume and sings in his own imaginary language.”
BIOSTROPHY: Rushad Eggleston plays fluffy rainbow unicorn metal from a magic green dimension whose mystic tongues growl the delapitude of the future across speedy spectrums of the wildest astral cello landscapes with oceans of glee, skies full of bats and forests full of strange melody monsters: does it even exist?
Etc.
Free-will offering, suggested donation $15-20.
