Kick off the paddling season on April 30, 2017 with the 35th Run of the Charles: Boston's Premier Paddling Race. As CRWA's signature event, the Run of the Charles is the largest flat-bottomed boat race in New England and a major event in Greater Boston, where it draws an average of 1,500 racers and thousands more spectators each year!


Watch the race at the free Finish Line Festival at DCR's Artesani/Herter Park. The festival kicks of at 11:30 am and features live music, raffles, and vendors. All of the races end at the Finish Line Festival and some also begin there.
