Be a part of the Roxbury Restaurant Week from Sunday, June 13th through Saturday, June 19th and support a slew of independent, locally-owned restaurants in and around Nubian Square. During the week-long event, you can have your fill from participating business, each of which will be offering special menus at breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.
The week will end with a collaborative nod to Juneteenth with Roxbury’s International Film Fest and BAMS Fest at the MFA’s premiere of Summer of Soul. Restaurants will be putting together boxes of snacks for attendees so be sure to pre-order The Rox Box through the Roxbury Main Streets’ website.
In addition to all the good food, there’s an extra bit of do-good-ing. The festivities include a raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Ujima’s Worker’s Care Relief Fund, a nonprofit creating a community-driven economy, with a focus on communities of color. Get your raffle tickets online here, and get all the information you need to help support the amazing Black-owned restaurants in Boston.
