An Evening of Floral Design & Wine Tasting at Colette Wine Bistro
Summer is here! The roses are blooming, the rosé is flowing, and we think this calls for an event! Please join us on Wednesday, June 26th at 6pm for an educational and entertaining evening of flower arranging and rosé tasting led by Haley Cormier, florist and founder of Bluebird Bouquets, and wine expert Maia Gosselin, owner of Sip Wine Education.
For the floral portion of the evening, Haley will guide us through building petite centerpiece arrangements with blooms specially curated for Colette Wine Bistro. As you create your centerpiece, she will provide insights into selecting the right blooms, techniques for arranging, and tips for long-lasting flowers. You will also receive a vase to take your flowers home in!
As for the rosé tasting… we know that we love them but there’s actually quite a wide range of those delicious pink wines with tremendous variety in both style, flavor, and price. Maia (who is also a devout rosé enthusiast) will take us on a tour of four distinctly different rosés from around the world sure to please your palates. History, regions, trends, fun facts and more will all be covered.
We hope to see you for this fun and floral experience!
Light paired appetizers will be served. Please notify us of any allergies or sensitivities.
About Our Experts
Haley Cormier:
Founder and Florist, Haley Cormier's, passion for floristry began at a young age alongside the caring guidance of her grandmother. To her, flowers tell a story of family, about who we are and where we come from.
Today, Bluebird Bouquets (https://www.bluebirdbouquets.com/) shares these meaningful moments with others through thoughtfully crafted floral pieces for life's special moments.
Maia Gosselin:
Maia Gosselin is an established wine educator, editor, and consultant. In addition, she is the Managing Editor for Massachusetts Beverage Business, a trade magazine covering beer, wine, and spirits. Maia was also a longtime regular wine guest on NBC affiliate News Center Maine's “207”. In her profession, she finds that many people would like to learn more about wine but are intimidated by it.
