Junior Rangers – this experience is all about nature’s superheroes! We will learn about the amazing superpowers animals have – creating ponds, surviving bitter cold, making dirt, and cleaning our waterways. Using our own superpowers of observation, we will study the habitats around Echo and Chickering Pond, documenting our discoveries and learning about some amazing creatures. Come to both or just one session.
Sub-themes:
Animals and microorganisms have superpowers to help the health of forests and ponds in many ways.
When we document our nature and scientific observations it helps us remember what we learned.
Humans impact natural systems both negatively and positively. How can we use our own superpowers to have a positive impact on nature?
