Join Dr. Robert Giles as he will be exploring renewable energy through hands on activities with the kids. Dr. Giles will be at the Children’s Museum in Easton on Monday April 17th from 10am to noon. Kids can explore with simple circuits involving lights, magnets, and small solar panels.
Dr. Robert Giles is a professor at UMass Lowell and is the director of the Haiti Development Studies Center. Just recently Giles went to Haiti with a half dozen of his students working on teaching a few energy engineering projects.
Check out our website www.childrensmuseumineaston.org to see what other fun activities are planned during April Vacations Mini Maker Week. Each day kids will be able to meet a different maker and explore a variety of projects. Mini Maker Week encourages children to learn by creating, building, and inventing in a whole new way to develop new insights and understandings about the world around them.
