It’s no easy feat to stay updated with the latest news, especially as it relates to information that impacts members on our team. However the truth is that we can’t pretend that harmful things aren’t happening in many communities. Whether a certain group of people are being killed at a disproportionate rate because of their identity, or there are policies and laws being passed that affect the livelihood of children and their families, we have a responsibility to pay attention and respond appropriately.
