Hey Kids! Bring your grown-ups for a morning of fun and run-focused activities at REI Co-op. Enjoy kid-friendly run activities, music, giveaways, face painting, a tie dye station, and more! Leading up to the Inclusive Kids’ Races as part of the Boston 10K for Women presented by REI, kids can learn more about preparing for and participating in a running race. The first 50 kids to arrive at the event receive a special REI gift bag. Activities and items are first-come, first serve.
PROGRAM:
9:00 a.m. One-mile Family-friendly stretch and run club (strollers welcome)- led by Cara Gilman
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. - Running Activities hosted by Girls on the Run (stretch and strengthening activities and run-themed games)
11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Kids RUNYOGA (a movement-based kids running + yoga class that infuses yogic principles of breath, yoga postures, mantras, and meditation to teach kids how to move from a place of positivity and joy)
10:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Kids Activities
Visit REI Boston in-store for all your run gear needs. Parking for REI Boston is located in the 401 Park Building (Landmark Center) and the garage entrance is on Fullerton Street.
