In celebration of the city of Boston rich cultural history, Lion Entertainment Boston Premier Promotional Powerhouse, annually host Reggae in the Park in the lovely greeting area grounds of the Franklin Park Zoo. An event which took years in the making, Reggae in the Park, demanded the combined efforts of the leadership team of the Franklin Park Zoo, commanding officers of the Massachusetts State Police and stewardship of key members of the city of Boston to make the landmark event work. Reggae in the Park is a "Coachella type" park gathering where people of all walks of life can gather and enjoy the sweet, soothing sounds of top performing artists who perform the genre of music commonly known as Reggae - popular in the Caribbean diaspora and originating from Jamaica.
Popular artists such as Beres Hammond, Morgan Heritage and more are a few that have graced the stage much to the delight of thousands of adoring fans. Feel free to browse the gallery for media coverage of past events.
Reggae in the Park fuses multi-generational gaps; genders, ages, cultures all come together to pay tribute to music adding to the thread that weaves the cloth of "togetherness and diversity" within the city of Boston. Slated annually at the beginning of the summer months, Reggae in the Park is an event that encourages attendees to bring out their lounge chairs, sample Caribbean cuisine and take a journey to the Caribbean islands through song, dance and networking. For a short 4-5 hour time-frame, patrons are treated to true "island life" in their North American homeland.
