For the fourth time in 14 years, it's time to get the duck boats ready for the Red Sox.
The World Series parade will take place Wednesday, October 31 at 11 a.m. The rolling rally starts at Fenway Park. The parade route will:
- Start on Lansdowne Street
- Take a right onto Ipswich Street
- Left onto Boylston to Tremont Street (opposite traffic flow)
- Then finally to Cambridge Street to New Sudbury Street.
Parking restrictions will be in place along the parade route beginning at midnight Tuesday night.
The MBTA is adding extra service for Red Sox fans. The commuter rail will have additional coach cars on many of its lines. The MBTA will also have extra employees at major stations. They can help you buy tickets, as well as provide directions and schedule information.
Passengers are asked to leave backpacks, coolers, strollers and other large items at home.
If you want to park at an MBTA lot, consider parking at one of the lots that have the most capacity on weekdays. You can learn more about parking lot locations and rates on the MBTA's parking website: https://www.mbta.com/parking
