You’re invited to the Celestial Pageant of the millennia. Dress code is glitter, fungus, shimmer, and shine. But it's April 2020, so who (or what) is gathering under these conditions? We find twenty-year-old Ixchel Robinson isolated in her Brooklyn apartment, overcome by the passing of her abuela. Her best friend Nathaniel drags her out of bed, excited to explore a magical growth in Ixchel's basement. The duo embarks on an epic adventure uncovering ancestral knowledge as they weave through a treacherous and spinning world.


Red Rainbow is part of Tufts 2022-2023 season of “A Year of Queer Magic,” supporting new works and queer futures. Thank you for joining us. A portion of ticket sales will go to Trans Resistance MA, “a trans and community led organization who plans and organizes the annual Trans Resistance rally at Franklin Park. Throughout the year [Trans Resistance MA] create spaces, events and experiences that uplift the TQBIPOC community.”
