On June 8th, Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will again capture the hearts and minds of Bostonians, with a crowd of more than 30,000 plus on-site spectators anticipated, it will truly be a moment to remember.
Boston will serve as the 100th stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, marking a historical moment for the sport. Boston will be the second stop of the 2024 calendar, slated for Saturday, June 8th. The event will once again be at the iconic Institute of Contemporary Art and is free to the public.
This is the third year in a row that the competition returns to Boston’s historic Seaport neighborhood, one of Boston’s newest districts, bustling with vibrant art, food, and culture. The neighborhood has seen a rapid transition from industrial warehouses and parking lots to a premier innovation locality. It is currently home to several fortune 500 enterprises and is one of the top residential destinations within the city.
Among the distinct locales of Boston Seaport is the Institute of Contemporary Art, serving as the backdrop for the exhilarating diving event. Established in 2006, this architectural marvel was designed to offer the public the joys of reflection, provocation, inspiration, and imagination. The building features a unique cantilever that extends to the water’s edge, making it a one-of-a-kind venue for Red Bull’s iconic Cliff Diving Series.
