Join Erin E. Moulton in the kitchen as we attempt to cook a Rarebit—that’s cheese dip, not rabbit—from the Kimball Class Cookbook. The KCC, a community cookbook (published in 1913) was created by the women of the Dudley Baptist Church. Participants will try their hand at the recipe and follow in the footsteps of a Kimball Class member and first generation American, Sabina Morris, to explore Roxbury during the early 20th century. Participants are encouraged to bring their own vintage or family recipe books to share!
This program takes place in the Nutrition Lab of the Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library. To attend, please register here.
