Join us for the free reception for Arts at the Armory’s Spring Exhibit: Motion. Several of the artists will be present, and light refreshments will be available.
About the exhibit: Art through the ages has often strived to depict movement, a steady rhythmic flow or a wild gesture. Artists have used every trick at their disposal to imbue their art with a sense of time and energy that belies its static state. Motion in art has many creative interpretations and many varying forms. The exhibit features artists across many visual disciplines who capture motion with their work, either in their subject matter or the way they use materials to give their work life.
Reception: March 20, 6-8pm
Show Dates: March 18 – April 26
Location: The Armory Café
The exhibit can be viewed any time that the Cafe is open.
