Feldman Geospatial has put together a cool Thursday night jazz series at Long Live Roxbury, a new craft brewery located at 152 Hampden Street in Boston (entrance is on George Street around the corner of the building). The lineup includes the Rebecca Cline Trio February 15.
Rebecca Cline Trio features
Pianist Rebecca Cline specializes in Latin and jazz. She studied in Cuba with Jesús "Chucho" Valdés, and has worked with the great Jerry González and with Giovanni Hidalgo, among others.
For over two decades, Rebecca Cline has lived in Boston as an educator, presenter and performer specializing in Latin and jazz piano. Favorite pianists include Mulgrew Miller, Sullivan Fortner, Cedar Walton, Tommy Flanagan, Bill Evans, and Kenny Baron, as well as Bebo Valdés, Emiliano Salvador, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and Ernán López-Nussa.
Cline enjoys performing with salsa vocalist Jesús Pagán, as well as with Mango Blue and a variety of jazz combos in and around the Boston area.
