Join us for a night of celebration, honoring our roots and ancestors at RE-ROOTED: An Ode to Cabo Verde.
The evening will begin with a powerful spoken word performance by Amanda Shea followed by an insightful roundtable panel discussion featuring:
- Tony Barros – Owner of Cesaria's Restaurant
- Dr. Aminah Pilgrim – Professor at Berklee College of Music, specializing in Africana Studies
- Miles Perry (Pires) – Artist/Designer of THIS IS AN ORIGINAL WORK OF ART ™
- Sidney Baptista – Founder/Owner of Pioneers Run Crew and PYNRS™
The panel will be directed by the dynamic Shantel "STAX" Teixeira
with live music by Jo Saza.
