Ready to cultivate dormant ideas, innovations, & time for nourishing recovery? Over three weeks we will move, read, create, process, and transmute.

What if you made a little time every week for accountability and support around your reading, creating, moving, and working with a habit? How might your life look if you picked one pattern to question?

Join Kate for a three-week workshop where you and a small group will:
self-identify a new habit to add to your life
one habit to experiment with breaking
one book to finish
one creative project to begin

Sample ideas include:
Building an Ayurvedic self-care routine you've been meaning to try, or simply getting to bed earlier
Experimenting with eliminating alcohol, gluten, or Netflix
Starting, and FINISHING Infinite Jest or War and Peace (Ok maybe not that ambitious, we have 3 weeks)
Begin carving out time each day for: beginning your novel, writing poetry, daily journaling, letter writing, painting, knitting, crafting, building, cooking

* If you have your eye on publishing, Kate can offer guidance on getting your work out there and next steps.

Kate earned her Master's in Fine Arts from Bennington and was awarded the Liam Rector "Brass Balls" Award. The Phoenix Magazine nominated her Boston poet of the year in 2013. Kate has been leading welcoming, challenging, and creative workshops for years. This particular workshop will be a light-hearted, honest place for experimenting with our habits (good and bad) while cultivating a writing/art habit and tackling a book (of your own choosing) to read. No experience needed in art or writing.

Session 1:
This first session includes introductions, Habit Identification and strategies for evolution. This can be anything from alcohol consumption, to flossing more. It doesn't matter...as long as it matters to you! We'll each select our own read for the three week period and goals for accountability. We will each identify a creative goal (of any medium) to begin. Writing prompts and creative projects will be offered if you are creatively blocked. Yes, we will practice yoga!

Session 2:
Reflection and pivoting. We will check in with progress on all three fronts, and strategies for habit shifts, breaking creative blocks and sticking to reading goals will be discussed. We will reflect on what's working, and what needs attention and atunement. Yes, more yoga!

Session 3:
We will celebrate our achievements and reflect on our choices. We will strategize next steps for personal goals and create a game plan for incorporating creation and questioning in your one precious life. Yes, yoga!

You will receive access to a private newsletter from Kate with check-ins and inspiration.

Read. Write. Move.
