Our clothes say a lot about us, but they could be saying a lot more.


Imagine a society in which what we wear is free from the restraints of trends, professionalism, budget, gender, and age. What would you wear if you could wear absolutely anything? What do you look like as a living work of art? Would you opt to be more feminine, androgynous, masculine? Would you prefer outrageous glam or total comfort? Would you look like you just stepped out of Saks Fifth Avenue, or off the set of Mad Men? What textiles express your imagination? How would you paint your image through fabric and fashion?


Raspberry Beret invites you to try on the clothing that embodies your ideal interpretation of yourself. Through brief and relaxed mini-photoshoots with polaroids, we hope to bring alternative versions of ourselves to light that can sometimes only be expressed by the variety of textiles, silhouettes, and time periods found in a consignment shop.


Pop in from 1-4pm to participate--all we need is two photos of you. Then, stick around for our shopping party with blogger Aline Chaprazian from 5-8pm!
