Ramen is traditionally comprised of four parts: soup/broth, seasoning (tare), noodles and toppings. The magic is in balancing the four parts to deliver a warm, soothing, flavorful experience. In this hands-on class, you’ll dissect the four components to make two classic ramen bowls using fresh vegetables and ingredients. You’ll focus on what grounds the ramen flavor profile – a rich broth designed to complement and support the other three components. On the menu: spicy miso (vegetarian) and tonkotsu (roasted soy brined pork) ramen bowls. Both will be topped with a perfect six-minute jammy egg. Comfort… in a bowl.
