Since California’s Gold Rush days, the Chinese-American movement has had many movers and ​shakers—but few as perplexing, controversial, and successful as little known Rose Pak. Exploring ​how the once marginalized community of San Francisco’s Chinatown has evolved to now wield ​considerable political power, RALLY presents an unvarnished look at one of the most ​confounding and unapologetic figures ever to stand up for justice and fair representation.
