MIT is regarded as the world's preeminent engineering school; what few may know is that its music program rivals many conservatories — in fact, Radius's own, clarinetist Eran Egozy, earned degrees in electrical engineering and music from MIT. Eran, creator of the popular video games Guitar Hero and Rock Band, is now Professor of the Practice in Music Technology.
Radius Ensemble is delighted to present this special concert that includes works by MIT's renowned faculty composers, in the gorgeous new Thomas Tull Concert Hall and in celebration of the new Edward & Joyce Linde Music Building. The program features works by MIT-affiliated composers Charles Shadle, Elena Ruehr, Keeril Makan, and Evan Ziporyn.
