NOW A VIRTUAL EVENT TO BE HELD APRIL 24-26


We have transformed the 3.1 mile run into a virtual experience that our community can participate from any location, at any age, and in any format they prefer!


Choose to enjoy your run indoors on a treadmill, outdoors while practicing safe social distancing, or mix and match in increments throughout the weekend event!. While not required, we encourage all participants to join the Race for Research Strava Club Page! Strava is a free social network platform for athletes. There, runners can post their progress, share photos and interact with other runners as they complete their challenges!

Race For Research is ALS Therapy Development Institute's premier 5K, bringing together more than 200 participants from the community each year. Enjoy a picturesque 3.1 mile run along the Charles River, with complimentary food and beer, prizes and fun.
