Mr. Massie is the author of Loosing the Bonds: The US and South Africa in the Apartheid Years. He was a long-time leader in the anti-apartheid divestment movement and an official international election observer during South Africa’s first elections. He earned a doctorate from Harvard Business School and established or led several organizations addressing inequality, economics and sustainability: CERES, the Investors Network for Climate Risk, New Economy Coalition, and the Global Reporting Initiative.
